Just a Few Bucks and a Target Run Will Help Jumpstart Your Spring

What did we mere mortals do to deserve the Target Dollar Spot? It's just wonderful. I go to a City Target, which is like a Target, but smaller and streamlined to stock just the bestsellers (however, I recently went to the Westwood City Target and I will never badmouth the Beverly Center City Target again. *shudders*), and even the meager Dollar Spot there is still a treasure trove of $1-$3 delights. I was at Target on Valentine's Day, because there are few things I love in this world more than Target, and the Dollar Spot had just been switched over to an Easter theme. They had some really great stuff, as per usual, but what stole my heart were these little faux succulents for just $3 each.

Look at those cuties! I immediately texted my mom, because she is the reason I have a love of sticking fake greenery in every nook and cranny of my home. I grabbed three little succulents (I think there were five styles to choose from) and gleefully took them home. I've lined them up in a little corner by my TV, and I think they add a little Springtime cheer to an otherwise blah area. Previously, when it was time to add Winter cheer, there was a fake mini evergreen there with twinkle lights on it. But seasons change and so do decor options!

If you are in the market for some legit looking fake plants that will add some pep to your home decor, get your butt down to your local Target Dollar Spot right quick. Things tend to sell out quick! I did learn, though, when I was checking to see if Target sells Dollar Spot items online (they do not), that there is a market for Dollar Spot items on eBay. The more you know!
