Wear, Watch, Want #246: The Well Fitting Tech List Edition

Wear: Old Navy Joggers

Old Navy will always surprise you. It’s a store full of flimsy garbage but also they have some of the best jeans, and their active wear is actually pretty good?? And if you wait like, five minutes, that thing you love is going to be 30% off?! I got a Gap Inc credit card for Athleta, but I probably use it just as often at Old Navy. My latest “Can you believe this is from Old Navy??” purchase is this pair of joggers. They’re the perfect weight, the waist is super high, the shape is perfection, they don’t fall down or ride up like you’d expect a pair of affordable joggers to… They’re divine! I prefer them to this pair of Athleta joggers (which are also great, but the Old Navy ones are better AND cheaper).

Watch: Everything

I have had a growing list of TV and movies I’ve wanted to watch for at least a year. I was out living life! But I also want to curl up on the couch and watch my stories. As an added hinderance, there are now too many streaming services and too many raved-about things to watch to EVER catch up. I tried to motivate myself to watch the things I wanted to watch, but it was too overwhelming. I tried using apps that would help me keep track of what I wanted to watch and where I could watch it, but it was impossible to keep up with. Then I sat down with my phone, opened every streaming app and wrote a list of what I wanted to watch on it. I also wrote the date my subscription expired, so I could prioritize. Now I’m making my way through Outlander season 6 (Starz expires first) and I have a complete itemized list to help me pick what’s next. Now I can have a life AND watch a ton of TV.

Want: iPhone 14 Pro

I have a DSLR camera, but lately I’ve been using my phone more and more for photos. It’s just so much easier. And phones are getting better and better. I was shocked to learn the iPhone 14 Pro has twice as many megapixels as my DSLR (time and tech keep marching forward I GUESS). I’m currently using an 11 Pro, which is fine, but I want to trade it in while it still has some value, upgrade, and sell my camera equipment. We’re going simple and streamlined over here.
