I'm Maybe Too Excited About These Bidet-Compatible Toilet Seat Bolts

Almost two years ago I got a bidet, and I am just as in love with it now as I was then. I was away from home for over two weeks and I missed many things about my home, but the bidet was probably top 5, maybe top 3. I already had an obnoxious toilet seat (I even bought special pliers for it) but adding the bidet made things even more complicated, and the seat felt like it was barely hanging on. I decided I needed new bolts, so I bought some, but they were all wrong. I did research too! They were supposed to be good! There were tons of issues, and I had to return them. I figured I’d just have an annoying toilet seat until I decided to replace the whole thing with a Toto Washlet, but then I did one more search and found the solution.

These bolts are exactly what I needed. Not only are they super long, the threads are on the entire length of the bolts (something my first attempt didn’t have) so no matter how thick your toilet seat and attachments are, you will be able to use these bolts to hold it all in place.

Installation was simple, even when I was overwhelmed by all the pieces scattered on my bathroom floor. There are clear instructions included, and it probably took me longer to find the right sized wrench than the rest of the installation steps combined.

You would not imagine the contorting I had to do to get this photo

My bathroom is small, and my toilet is hard to work on in such a small sapce, but I managed to get my new bolts installed in very little time, and now the seat is SOLID. This feels like a problem that has only ever happened to me, but just in case you too have spent months trying to secure a seat and bidet, rest easy and buy these bolts. They’re perfect.
