These Reusable Foot Masks are Very Weird - And Very Effective

Every night before I crawl into bed, I channel my inner Wife in a 90s Movie/TV Show and put on some lotion. My go-to is my love, my everything, Eucerin Healing Cream. But sometimes if I’m particularly heavy handed, I put on socks, and I can just imagine all that glorious moisture getting sucked into my socks and not my skin. It’s because of this that when I saw these silicone socks I bought them immediately.

They’re marketed at “reusable foot masks” but they’re just stretchy silicone booties made to hold whatever lotion you want against your feet for maximum moisturization. I particularly like this idea for when I’m using Eucerin Roughness Relief Spot Treatment (reviewed here) — these booties take it to the next level.

I apply my spot treatment all over the rough areas of my feet, slip on these socks, then put some regular socks over them. You don’t need to put on socks over socks, but I feel like it protects the gel booties from damage and makes it a little easier to walk, if you have to. The spot treatment is being held against your rough skin, and won’t absorb into the socks, so you can really get the full effects right where you need them. I wake up with smooooooth feet, and if I do a little pumice stone/callus shaver on the really tough spots? My feet look brand new.

Once you’ve used the booties, you turn them inside out and wash them (I just spray with Dawn Power Wash and rinse) and they’re ready to use again. Despite being very, very careful, I managed to get a tear in the sole of one of the booties, but it’s not in an area that I need intense moisturization and it’s not a huge issue. I’d say though, that these booties aren’t going to last forever — the page says 20+ uses and I’d say more like 10. Still, for $10 and being able to use whatever products you want, they’re pretty great.

You can see the tear in the sole of the right sock - it’s not a big deal, but still a bummer

I have a policy of not posting feet for free, and when wearing these silicone sleeves your feet look even MORE fetish-y, so you’ll have to just use your imagination (there are also some photos on the Amazon listing). If you love the feeling of a foot mask but hate the single use aspect, or just want to use your own moisturizer to its full potential, these freaky little booties are just what you need.
