This $5 Drugstore Buy Is The Best Body Oil I’ve Ever Used

I’m a dedicated moisturizer, and while I love the idea and the feeling of body oil, I’ve never found one I really love. Post-shower I moisturize with CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, but sometimes I want a light scent, or a quick-to-dry option, and to me, that means body oil. The hunt was on, and it didn’t take too long to find a winner, and oh, she’s a winner.

Dr Teal’s is known for epsom salts, but they also make all kinds of other products, from deodorant to body wash to facial toner. They also make bath and body oil, and in multiple scents! I picked up a shea butter body oil, and when I tell you it is exactly what I was looking for?? It was my ideal product, right in my hands. The oil is super quick to absorb but also incredibly moisturizing. Shea butter is one of my favorite scents — it’s not too scented, but it’s a natural, lovely fragrance — and because this oil is from Dr Epsom Salt, there’s epsom salt in the oil as well, so you’re moisturizing while soothing.

The upgraded routine, though, is to combine body oil with your moisturizer. I decanted my Dr Teal’s Bath and Body Oil into a pump bottle so it would be a little neater, and I do one pump of CeraVe Moisturizing Cream and one pump of oil, and this concoction is elite. My skin glows, it feels comfortable, and I smell like I’ve just left a spa.
