Downy Wrinkle Releaser
Call me a hobo, but I don't iron my clothes. I own an iron and an ironing board, but they're still in their original packaging, waiting for me to give in and become an adult that actually irons things. Am I saying my clothes don't get wrinkled? Nope, they get all kinds of wrinkled. But! I have a secret weapon that keeps my shirts wrinkle-free and me away from an ironing board. I present Downy Wrinkle Releaser.
I first discovered Wrinkle Releaser during my freshman year of college. I was living in a very cramped dorm room, and even if I wanted to iron there was just no space. The laundry room was far from my room, and I'm lazy, so sometimes I'd leave my dry clothes in the dryer for an hour or two. We all know what happens when you leave your clothes in the dryer for too long: The Wrinkly-Crinklies. I needed a solution. I gave Downy Wrinkle Releaser a try, and I've never looked back (or picked up an iron).
I don't wear crisp oxfords or anything, I just have the occasional shirt or skirt that needs a little sprucing up. Wrinkle Releaser is perfect for sprucing!. You just hang up or lay down your wrinkled garment, spray a light layer of DWR over it, smooth out the wrinkles, and let it dry. Sometimes there isn't time for the last step, and I've left the house in many a damp tee. But I was wrinkle-free!
Wrinkle Releaser is a must-pack travel item. We've all opened our suitcase to find our favorite dress got all creased and wrinkled during the trip. Never fear! Wrinkle Releaser comes in a handy travel sized bottle that's perfect for stashing in a suitcase. I actually keep a bottle in my suitcase at all times, so I never forget it (and never have to wrestle with the hotel room iron).
Downy Wrinkle Releaser isn't going to give your clothes crisp, perfect creases - for that you're going to have to suck it up and bust out the iron - but it is going to freshen up your musty clothes, get rid of the wrinkles on your favorite tee, and cover up the fact that you left your clothes in the dryer for a full day before you decided to put them away.
