Gift Guide 2012: Volume II

1. Alligator Bookends from Z Gallerie - $50

Either as a quirky surprise on an otherwise run of the mill bookcase, or as yet another accoutrement on a tchotchke covered one, these bookends are badass.

2. Skull Earbuds from Merkury Innoventions - $15

When I walk Hero I like to listen to podcasts or kpop on my iPhone. But, sadly, I recently ran my earbuds through the wash. They still work, remarkably, but they're just not as good as they once were. These buds are in the running for my new pair.

3. Mascara Pouch by Pamela Barsky via Etsy - $15

I first saw this pouch on Fab, and I knew I had to have it. And while I haven't actually ordered it yet, it's always on the top of my to-do list. So, you know, if you wanted to get me something...

4. Turkish Delight from Lush - $35

One of the best foolproof ways to give a gift is to find something that the person would love, but would never buy for themselves. Take for instance, this ultra-luxe, rose scented, in-shower moisturizer from Lush. It's something anyone would love, but a lot of people would't be up for spending $35 on. (They're crazy. I'd go hungry before I skimped on beauty products.)

5. Deer Watch from asos - $35

I love this watch because it's utilitarian with a twist, but that twist is still very classic. I also like the way an old-fashioned image is literally on the face of something modern and plastic.

6. Thunder In Our Hearts Tote in Black by fieldguided via Etsy - $20

Kate Bush. Need I say more?
