Have a Hot Bod And a Hot Dog

I don't feel great. Maybe that's a good title for my memoirs? I Don't Feel Great... But I'm Still Alive! (It'll end in an exclamation point because exclamation points and all caps are very on-brand for me.) It's not uncommon for me to feel tired and achy and generally blech, so I'm handling it as best I can: With hot tea, a snuggly pup, Netflix, and the most deluxe heating pad I have ever owned. I'm very into heating pads. I have endometriosis, and one of my major implants actually grows on a ligament that attaches to my spine (if that sounds incredibly painful, CORRECT!). I also have arthritis in my low back, and my fibromyalgia pain tends to enjoy settling in my back as well. I sound like I'm falling apart, so I won't get into the problems with my hips, except to say: There are problems with my hips. The best thing to do in high pain times is to set up a heating pad on my low back/hip area - essentially a tramp stamp heating pad. I've used a heating pad for years, but never one nicer than a $15 one from Walgreens. Then my $15 one from Walgreens started to look really, really pathetic, and I decided to not only purchase a new one, but to upgrade.

Sunbeam's Xpress Heat Microplush Heating Pad is huge (12" by 24"), doesn't get scrunched and crinkled like the plasticky heating pads with thin fabric covers (those ones are never soft and pliable, and this one always is), and heats up amazingly fast. The entire thing is also machine washable! AND it has a 2 hour timer (most heating pads automatically turn off after two hours) OR you can set it to stay on forever. Plus with the handy LCD screen choosing the heat setting is incredibly easy - and there are six to choose from. My old heating pad just had low, medium and high, and let's face it, low and medium were worthless. I got this heating pad right before Thanksgiving, and I brought it to my mom's house when I went for the holiday. She was so envious of my amazing heating pad she ordered one for herself! The only issue I have now is that whenever I get up Hero swoops in and steals my nice warm spot.
