Stop Holding Your iPad - Take a Stand!

I've had an iPad since 2010, but it wasn't until about a month ago that I got my first tablet stand. It was so utterly life changing I couldn't stop talking about it for days. So simple - yet a complete game changer.

I used to avoid watching anything longer than a 5 minute YouTube video on my iPad because it was a pain to hold it. I had cases that had built in stands - but those are never sturdy enough to stay upright for an episode of a sitcom, let alone a whole movie. Plus, I tend to watch movies and TV shows in bed, and a flimsy iPad case with a built in stand cannot take the jostling that comes from a dog jumping up and down from your bed. And Hero DeNiro is a jostler

I signed up for a streaming TV service (It sucked. I recently cancelled it) and the only device I could use to watch TV through this service was an iPad or iPhone. I knew this wasn't going to work out well with my current iPad (non)setup, so I bought an Amazon Basics stand for $9.

As I've already said, it completely changed my life. I use my iPad about 60% more now, simply because I have something to hold it for me. I sometimes get horrible pain and swelling in my hands and fingers, and this is exacerbated by holding things - particularly things like books and tablets - so this stand has saved me frustration and actual physical pain. Also, the Amazon Basics stand is collapsible. It folds up to be (at this point I thought for a LONG time about what it's the size of) about the size of a small banana? It's smaller than an average remote control, that's for sure. What I'm saying is, you can easily throw it in a small purse and take your business on the road if you need to, with minimal hassle.

I recently took my little tablet stand on a trip and found that it works just as well if you use it on your lap in bed as it does on a solid surface. Typically I use a lap desk, but it's good to know this stand will hold your tablet nice and sturdy just about anywhere. Take it camping! Take it on a plane! Take it to the beach! It's so simple, so inexpensive, and has made my quality of life so much better I can't believe I've gone so long without it. Don't be like me - get a tablet stand TODAY.
