This Stinky Serum is The Trick For Brighter, Tighter, Glowing Skin

Lately my skin has been looking real dull. No matter how I moisturized, how I exfoliated, how I masked, I couldn't get the brightness and smoothness I wanted. Fortunately, I have been devouring every bit of beauty trivia I could get my hands on since I was a child, and I knew what my routine was missing: Vitamin C.

Vitamin C products have always been around, but in the past few years they've become very popular. Vitamin C is great for brightening the complexion and reducing hyperpigmentation (The bane of my whole skincare journey). It can also reduce signs of aging and keep your skin looking firm. With all this in mind, why wouldn't you want a vitamin C product in your arsenal? Well, it can irritate sensitive skin. Also, it's stinky.

I have found, however, a vitamin C serum that works with sensitive skin types and only smells faintly of nail polish remover. Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum is the vitamin C serum for just about every customer. It's gentle yet effective, it's affordable, and it's easy to work into your current skincare routine.

I apply this serum only at night, and in conjunction with a snail mucin essence (more on that later this week). I've noticed an increase in my skin's texture and brightness already, after only a few weeks of use. Because this product is fairly gentle, with only 5% vitamin C, I just sort of squirt an indiscriminate amount onto my fingertips and press it into the skin on my face and neck (because who doesn't want a firm neck?). Compared to other cult favorite Vitamin C products you'll read about online, this serum is incredibly cheap at $23. It's also a great introduction to Vitamin C if you're interested in giving it a try without breaking the bank.
