Another Honey Product Added to My Apian Arsenal

Now that I’m obsessed with honey-based skincare, I don’t even think about whether or not I need a product. It’s got honey in it? I NEED IT. My skin is looking FRESH and LOVELY and it’s all because of honey. (It’s also because of Retin-A, my other favorite skincare product, but right now we’re talking about honey.)

I have fallen madly in love with Cosrx Honey Ceramide Full Moisture Cream, and I have been using it every night. But I was always adding another, more heavy duty moisturizer on top, just around my under eyes and nose, where I tend to get super dry. When I saw that Cosrx made another honey moisturizer, this one a more heavy duty, overnight mask, I purchased a tube immediately.

Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask contains a whopping 87.26% propolis extract. It’s calming, moisturizing, and a real skin savior. It’s much more oily than the Full Moisture Cream, but not like my oils and petroleum based creams that leave dark splotches on my pillow after a night’s beauty rest. Somehow, this mega moisturizer provides the same level of healing and hydration as my oils, but without leaving me with a grease ghost on my pillow, or me waking up looking like I dunked my face in a tub of Crisco (something I would not think twice about doing, if I’m being honest).

The Honey Overnight Mask is a triple threat: You can use it overnight as a deep moisture mask, you can use it as a short term mask to prep the skin for makeup or just give yourself a little pick me up, or you can apply a little as a daytime moisturizer. I tend to apply it at the very least, around my super dry spots, and sometimes across my entire face, each night. Ideally over a moisturizer like the Cosrx Honey Ceramide Full Moisture cream, but sometimes if I’m tired and just can’t be bothered, I’ll use it alone. It’s cheap and effective and my skin is loving it.
