Wear, Watch, Want #198: The Cozy Cropped Comic Edition

Wear: Oiselle In2Sports Bra

In my ongoing search for high-impact sports bras, I found myself at Oiselle. I’d never been into the store before (and I only just learned that there is ONE Oiselle store. It’s by my house, I see it all the time, I had no idea it was the only one!). I tried on a lot of bras, but the one that I knew I HAD to have was the In2Sports Bra. Is it suitable for high impact workouts? No! Is it so comfortable I get mad when it’s in the laundry and I can’t wear it? YES! It’s like pajamas, but a bra. It’s so comfortable, it’s like wearing nothing. I wouldn’t do a spin class in it, but for errands, lounging, or walking the dog? It’s fantastic. I will say I had to try on a few sizes (and I’m sorry if you don’t live near the one store to make this easily possible), but I’m a 36DDD/F and I got a large, and i maaaybe could wear a medium but I imagine it would be less pajama-like.

Watch: Hacks

I only just started watching Hacks. I love Jean Smart, Las Vegas, and old-school lady comics (IS Hacks not-so-secretly kind of a show about Joan Rivers? Yes. With a dash of Rita Rudner), and I’d seen so many people raving about it on Twitter, but I wasn’t in the mood to watch a show. Then I found out episodes were only a half hour and I was IN. Like I said about Girls 5Eva, we need more half hour comedies in our lives!

I want much more info about the sets and costumes of Hacks, but for now I’ll have to settle for this AD piece. Thinking about Jean Smart, apparent queen of HBOMax, also made me wonder if you can stream Designing Women anywhere, and you can, on Hulu.

Want: Lululemon Scuba Oversized 1/2 Zip Hoodie

My problematic fave Lululemon strikes again. I needed to exchange some things, and I figured if I was already going into the dressing room to double check sizes, I may as well see what else I might want to try on, so I grabbed a few lil’ items, including this sweatshirt. It is… perfect? It’s perfect. It has thumb holes, which I love. The look can change depending on how much you zip the zipper, and it’s cropped but in a way that is actually flattering on me and doesn’t make me look like I’m pretending to be a 15 year old. I didn’t get it because 1) It’s a very warm sweatshirt and it is SUMMER, and 2) They’re sold out in the color I want (oxblood, duh).
