Your No Sweat Summer Just Got Less Messy

We’ve been dealing with an unprecedented heat wave here in the PNW, and while I have AC (That works!), I still have to go outside sometimes, and I’m getting sweaty immediately. I’ve got hankies, and I’m not leaving the house much, but I needed to bring out all my sweat busting tools, because even with AC, even with not leaving the house, I was feeling uncomfortable.

I reviewed Megababe Bust Dust awhile ago, and while I love the product, I actually don’t use it that much, because I always make a mess. I end up with powder on my outfit, on my floor, on everything I touch, AND I can’t tell if I actually got a decent amount on my body. I tried a few different application methods, but I’m just not coordinated enough to get it on ME and not on my entire environment. And I guess I’m not the only one, because Megababe has come out with the Dust Puff, a perfect applicator for their fantastic powders.

I got a Dust Puff when Megababe was having a sale, and it basically took care of tax and shipping, so I ended up paying $18 total - the cost of the puff itself. $18 seemed like a lot for a little puff ball, but once it arrived, it is totally worth the price. This thing is HUGE. There are photos online and the measurements are printed right on the box, so I should have known, but I was shocked at how big this thing really is.

And that’s a benefit! You don’t have to worry about super precise application, because the puff covers such a large surface area. Plus, the puff allows you to apply powder without it ending up absolutely everywhere. I still get some white marks, but that’s more because I’m impatient rather than the product itself being faulty. The box it comes in is great not only for storage, but for application. I just put a few pumps of Bust Dust in the bottom of the box, then swirl the puff around in it, and it’s ready to go. I don’t get powder everywhere - only where I want it.

i haven’t cleaned the puff yet, but you just hand wash and air dry. It really couldn’t be easier. And remember, Bust Dust is the same as Body Dust, so you can use either, or refill your Bust Dust with Body Dust. I got Bust Dust because I thought the pump applicator would be easier, but now that I have a Dust Puff, I know I have the actual best applicator.
