I Gave Purito a Second Chance, and Their Recovery Cream Delivered Results

There are certain skincare ingredients that will always pique my interest, and one of those is centella asiatica. It’s in Dr Jart’s Cicapair line, it’s in my favorite pimple patches, it’s in this sunscreen that seemed too good to be true because it WAS. After I got burned (not literally, thank goodness) by Purito’s bogus centella sunscreen, I was wary of trying more products, but the Centella Unscented Recovery Cream just sounded too good to NOT try, so I got a tube.

I absolutely do not need more heavy duty moisturizers. I have plenty. BUT, I’m always on the lookout for something even better, and I know my skin loves some tiger grass. I added a tube of Centella Unscented Recovery Cream to my Stylevana order, and when a spot on my chin was particularly red and inflamed, I pulled out this cream and gave it a try. After just one day, the redness was significantly reduced.

I prefer this as a spot treatment, and the tube is HUGE considering how little I use at a time. I’ve taken to reapplying to any angry spots throughout the day - if I’m just at home on my laptop anyway, I may as well! This is the reformulated version, without essential oils, witch hazel, or fragrance, and I cannot imagine it being irritating to any skin (that being said, everyone is different!). It’s lightweight but also feels like it’s doing something. I mean, it clearly is, because my red chin was completely gone in about two days.
