La Roche-Posay Makes Cicaplast *Hand Cream*, and I am Obsessed

I absolutely love La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5. It’s a product I will always keep in my medicine cabinet, rave about to anyone who seems even slightly interested, and I’m fairly sure it can perform miracles.

So when I found out LPR makes a CICAPLAST HAND CREAM (?!?!) I bought it immediately. I have had this hand cream for mere days, and I already want to buy more. I want a tube in every room of my house. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Hand Cream is THE hand cream.

I love a heavy, heavy moisturizer, but NOT on my hands! I actually need to use my hands, and even if I apply right before I go to sleep, a heavy hand cream just does not work for me. Cicaplast Hand Cream, however, absorbs super fast, but it’s chock full of niacinaminde, shea butter, and a whopping 30% glycerin. It truly feels like you’re applying a super thin, undetectable, yet impenetrable barrier on your hands.

The formula is a little gel-like, probably because of all that glycerin, and it absorbs into your hands almost immediately. BUT, unlike many a “fast absorbing” formula, you can still feel it. You get all the moisturization and skin barrier protection while still being able to actually use your hands, even immediately after application.

I would buy Cicaplast Hand Cream by the gallon if I could. As it is, I’d settle for this being carried at Target. For now, I have to order one small tube at a time from Amazon. But La Roche-Posay, if you’re reading this, please know you’ve triggered an addiction, and I am obsessed.
