The Micropoint Acne Patches For When You Only Need to Pull Out the Medium Guns

I wrote a huge post on all the various acne patches I have in my collection, but as I was writing that, I was testing another new patch. I didn’t include it in the roundup because I didn’t really have any opinions yet… but NOW I DO.

Skinbuilders Microdart acne patch back of package

Skinbuilders Microdart Acne Patches are unmedicated (more on that in a second) microneedle patches that are a great compliment to all the patches I described before. The thing I like about these is that, unlike the Mighty Micropoint For Blemishes patches, these don’t contain any “medicine,” ie, salicylic acid. I’m not clear enough on whether to call this an active ingredient or a treatment or what, but basically the Mighty patches have an ingredient that has caused me irritation in the past, and the Skinbuilders do not.

They do only come in one size, which is… fine

The potential downside is that one is not really a substitute for the other. Skinbuilders claims to work on under the skin breakouts, but the ingredients aren’t the type that will bust a breakout to pieces — at least not like salicylic acid. I think the Skinbuilders patches are perfect for a breakout after you’ve used the Mighty patches. The spots that are red and open, and could use some soothing, healing ingredients deeply applied via microneedles.

Skinbuilders Microdart Acne Patches really do help heal breakouts fast, as long as you use them correctly. Plus, you get a ton of them (27) in a package, which is great for me, a person who collects acne patches like a little skincare-obsessed dragon.
