Wear, Watch, Want #101: The Absolutely Exhausted Edition

I have an autoimmune form of arthritis, and I take a lot of drugs to treat it. One of them is Methotrexate, which is a real weird one. The formula hasn’t been changed since the 60s, when it first came on the scene, so you have to take multiple little pills all at once. I, for example, take six every Monday night. You just take it once a week, and it really knocks you out, so on your Methotrexate day you just kind of plan to watch Netflix on the couch and go to bed early.

Methotrexate, for me, has made me anemic, and I’m SO TIRED. I’ve been altering the dose (as prescribed by my rheumatologist, I’m not just going rogue), but I’m still just completely exhausted. Everything is difficult, even when I take a nap every day. I’m seeing my doc in a few weeks and we’ll see where we go from there, but for now… I’M TIRED.

If you need me, I’ll be asleep.
